Financial Literacy is a passion of mine. I do not feel that enough financial literacy is taught in school curriculum and I also feel that not enough parents share the basics of financial literacy with their children; simply because parents may not have the basics of the concepts to begin with.
We hope to educate and inspire readers in the areas of financial literacy. What is financial literacy, you may ask. It’s defined as the ability to understand and apply different financial skills effectively, including personal financial management, budgeting, and saving. Financial literacy makes individuals become self-sufficient, so that financial stability can be accomplished.
With that being said, we plan to share articles and resources that you can use to learn about saving, budgeting, and financial management so that you can become successful in your journey and become more confident in talking to your own children about the topics.
